Well, I guess I proved my own research from work this summer...Blogs are the future because up until now I refused to ever start one. Like many of my friends abroad with me here in Greece, I have decided to start a travel blog because it's much easier than sending out tons of different emails to different family members and friends. Naturally, I waited until my last two weeks in Greece to even start a travel blog, but I figure this will be perfect for when I'm in Rome...Or wherever else my travels take me. As many of you know, I've also found that internet access can be scarce in Europe, so I can quickly update everyone at home by posting on here. Plus it gives me a great way to procrastinate on my work. Right now I should be slaving away on my final paper for class, but writing a blog and updating people at home is much more important, right?
We leave for Santorini and Noxos tomorrow at 5:30AM! Everyone is freaking out about it, at times like this I'm thankful I come from a family of early-risers. I'm sick of not getting out of the house until NOON to start our day, crazy if you ask me. Taso has proven to us that "Greek Time" is very real though. Stores never open on time, and they'll be randomly closed whenever the shop owners need a break. It's a little better now that everyone is back from their month-long holiday...I'm still asking myself why we don't have a month set aside for vacation in America. I've been lucky enough to take my lengthy vacations while doing actual work, is that crazy? I've gotten so used to meeting Aussie's that spend years just chillin and traveling the world, yet another thing we need to incorporate into American society...
Ah, I have to stop going on tangents and get back to work. I'll return soon (hopefully) with past updates from Hydra, Evia, and the other things that have been happening here in Greece.

Dude, nice blog. Great shots, especially like the one of all of you looking a tad crazy-excellent! I believe your buddies are my kind of peeps. The pix of you and Kristo really made me think of Greece and the buddies I drank with while there.
I really love hearing about your travels and seeing the pixs at the same time. Bloggerama.
All is well is Venice. Mozer hooked up (well, not in that way)with a bunch of Irish musicians and yes, there will be smoking and drinking. She's having a ball. Of course Logie, Maggie and I have been on our weekend boogie routine, Logie and I at night. We went last Wednesday and we both went airborne-we were a bit in shock for a second but recovered and laughed our asses off -- it was good. Also did some padding around on my buddy Steve's surf board, just getting used to the board but I think surfing is in my future.
Nancy is in a rehab place, she was picked up by the police out of her tree-- lost Josie. Logie and I found Josie in the pound and got her out-- she was a bit traumatized but she fine now, we are loving her up. Nancy didn't show for 4 days (she was in the hospital) so needless to say, we were freaked. I am somewhat at my wits end with Nancy, just praying alot. Ana and I visited her on Sat and I will go this week sometime. Yikes!!!
Dude, signing off, much love and hugs. Kick butt and take names.
