Just a start in Roma

Well, I have officially arrived in Rome and even though I don't remember ANY Italian, things have gone smoothly so far. After a morning of navigating our way to the UW Rome Center, (which was successful, I might add) we received our apartment keys and were off! After spending a good ten minutes trying to open our building door which is probably thousands of years old, I had to attempt to carry my 50-plus pounds of luggage up four flights of stairs. I was "sweating buckets" as my mom and I always say, but when we got in the door it was all worth it! Here are just a few pictures of our new place!

The view from our window, how Roman!
Our Kitchen
One of our rooms, how spacious!
We even have a really cool loft that leads to...
This!
another loft! Nobody is sleeping in this bed so if anyone wants to come visit I have a place for you...
