I Went to Scotland?

When I first came to Europe, that last place I thought I would go was Scotland. It just seemed like such a random place to go, but it was where I started my Spring Break away from our whole group. The pound didn't make things to easy since I had to double everything I bought, including 20 dollar breakfasts and five dollar cokes. But in the end, I don't regret any of it since Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Iverness all ended up being so great. I don't think anyone can go to Scotland without seeing a hillside full of sheep!
Here we are at Urquhart Castle, which overlooks Lochness. We took a boat tour on Lochness out to the castle. It was so weird being here after watching tons of mystery shows as a kid that explored the legend of the Lochness monster.

On Lochness searching for Nessie
I was VERY excited to try to find the Lochness Monster.

While in Scotland, I was brought back to the infamous "Office Toilet" moment I had during my first trip to the UK when I was 13...Tricia knows all about that moment!

Downtown Edinburgh
When we got to Edinburgh, we went on our hostel's pub crawl. We met up with another hostel, and all of the employees were dressed up as "Real Americans" aka trashy Americans. They all were Australian - and it was pretty hilarious to see Aussies make fun of Americans.

Remember Dolly?

Any of you family members remember me asking you for swim-a-thon money as a kid? Well, apparently they do swim-a-thons in Scotland too...

This is where J.K. Rowling wrote Harry Potter!!!
