Things are finally settling in here with school and everything else that comes with living in a new city. It's weird that I am finally over jet-lag and now it's hard to get up at 7:30 in the morning, but also nice that I can go out at night and not be exhausted the whole time! This weekend I am going to Tivoli Gardens, Hadrian's Villa and Siena so it will be interesting to test out my weekend travel skills before I move on to bigger trips like Vienna and Dublin. Here are some more pictures, mostly from the Capitoline Museum. It's fun that this is one of our "classes." Much better than sitting in a dull classroom. Fun fact: The Capitoline Museum is the oldest public museum in the world. The Forum.
Looks like a great day at "class" to me. I can't wait to hear about your first weekend adventure out of town. Be sure to climb the tower in the main square in Sienna. The view is superb. Tricia
